Cost of Treatment (2012)
- The costs below include most treatments ranging from just a few months to 18 months duration. However, costs are higher for the 10% of patients needing more complex or longer treatment (24 months)
- The cost of treatment is fully determined prior to treatment starting and is confirmed in writing.
Fixed brace for one dental arch (upper or lower):

Fixed braces for upper and lower teeth:
| Children and teenagers: | £2,600 - £4,150 | |
| Adults (age 20+): | £3,050 - £4,750 |
Lingual braces*:
| Upper or lower teeth: | £2,000 - £2,400 | |
| Upper and lower teeth: | £3,650 - £4,250 |
* Lingual braces are only available as short courses
of treatment (4-8 months)
Payment options:
- Payment for treatment taking 4-8 months is made by instalments every 4 months
- For treatment taking 12 months or longer three options are offered: payment by instalment every six months, payment by monthly standing order or full payment in advance, which attracts a discount.
- Payment may be made by cheque, debit card, credit card or by monthly standing order. Please note that 1.5% is added to credit card payments above £250.
NO HIDDEN EXTRAS - The costs include:
- All necessary ceramic, metal or lingual braces
- Any additional removable braces
- All radiographs and plaster models required during treatment
- All adjustments including any unforeseen additional visits
- The repair of broken braces
- Manual toothbrushes required during fixed brace treatment
- Fixed or removable retainers fitted on completion of treatment
- Supervision of retention for the first twelve months
