Cost of Treatment (2010)
- The range of costs below includes most treatments; however, in some cases, costs will be lower and in a small number of cases, costs will be higher.
- In nearly all cases, the cost of treatment is fully determined prior to treatment starting and therefore the subject of a firm quotation.
- Treatment limited to removable braces is less costly; however, most patients require fixed braces for at least part of their treatment.
- Invisalign treatment is subject to individual quotation.
Fixed braces for upper and lower teeth:

Payment options:
- Three options are offered: payment by instalment every six months, payment by monthly standing order or full payment in advance, which attracts a small discount.
- Payment may be made by cheque, debit card, credit card or by monthly standing order. Please note that 1.5% is added to credit card payments above £250.
NO HIDDEN EXTRAS - The costs include:
- All necessary ceramic or metal fixed braces
- Any additional removable appliances
- All radiographs and plaster models required during treatment
- All adjustments including any unforeseen additional visits
- The repair of broken braces
- Manual toothbrushes required during fixed brace treatment
- Fixed or removable retainers fitted on completion of treatment
- Supervision of retention for the first twelve months
The costs do not include:
- Any treatment undertaken by another dentist (eg implants or bridges)
- The replacement of lost removable braces or retainers
- Annual retention visits beyond the first 12 months
